Weird Clown Fish Sleeping Habits!

I have 2 blk/white clowns. I don't have an anenome for them until i get a bigger overflow tank, because i refuse to pay for anymore anenomes to get stuck in my filters! The clowns have decided to sleep in my clam at night! Will this hurt the clam?

I dont know about the clam but they will sleep in all kinds of corals. I have a tomato that sleeps in a Pagoda cup and a gold maroon that sleeps in the bubble coral in my avatar. It does not have to be an anenomie.

Never heard of them sleeping in a clam. Does the clam no close when they touch it?

It doesn't close all the way. Not anymore than it used to close before they slept in it. During the day the clam is all open, and at night it closes up some, but not shell to shell touching closed.

As long as they are not hurting the mantle I believe you should be OK.
