weird specimens

well my 55gal has been up and runningfor a few weeks now and theres significant algae growth on the front glass. First a brownish color and now red splotches among the brown. The brown's all over the substrate too. And now there are these little white bugs running around all over the algae. Im sure theyre not bugs, but very simple creatures they move around and are very tiny, maybe the point of a toothpick or something real tiny, but visible. What are they? What do i do with em?

Those are probably pods of some kind. They are great free food. They come on the live rock.
Good luck! Kat
