What do I need?

I am considering starting a saltwater tank. I am probably going to go with a 55 gallon (already have one). So, what my question is: What specifically will I need to get started; filters, skimmers, lighting, etc. Also, what type of bed should I use? I tried to search for this, but I didn't see anything about it. Sorry if I missed it. Thanks in advance!

I don't want you to take this the wrong way but, "Salt water aquariums for Dummies" is a great book if your just starting out (I'm not saying your a dummy).
this book will go pretty much step-by-step on how to set up your aquarium.
