What doesn't get Ick?

I know that are some fish that do not get ick but are diamond gobies one of them. Everything in my tank is gone...anthias, six line, tangs, dwarf angel, clowns. the diamond is still doing well. he seems to like having the tank to himself. he never hides now. does he get ick or not.

IMO all fish can get ich. It`s just that some fish are able to fight off the parasite because of their immune system.

That's one of the main reasons to QT everything before adding it to the display tank. A 30 day qt should tell you if there's a problem lurking. You could also do a prophylactic hypo treatment in qt, or run copper.
