What is the best Protien skimmer to use in a sump for a 40 gal?

Any recom.? What size sump? What, other than balls, should i use?

Aqua-c Urchin pro. It is probably the best and least exspensive. Or you could go with a euro reef cs5-1 or -2. I would use a mag 9.5 to return it. You can use a CPR overflow to get it to the sump. Some people do not like these and some do. There are other overflow options like www.lifereef.com Do not use bio balls if you have liverock; you are just asking for high nitrates.
