What is this? Clear Slime

Can anyone tell me what they think this might be? Seems to be growing. It’s deep in the rocks, and feels like nothing to the touch, I almost can’t even feel it when I touch it with my hand.

Really would like to get rid of it.

Thanks!

Looks like sponges to me. Does it rub off when touched?

I’m not sure what you mean, but they actually get stuck to my snails that go through it.

When I clean them up, it’s pretty unsubstantial, when removed from the water you almost can’t even tell it’s there.

Looks like tubes of filter feeders of some sort.
