Ok so I see that some string things are coming out of it.

that is not a good sign...have you check your parameters? is the tank over heating? have you done a recent water change and not dissolve all the salt?

You do not own test kits? I would buy at least a nitrite/nitrate kit and one for ammonia, and one for ph and alkalinity.

What size tank and what lighting do you have? How long has your tank been running? and how long have you had the coral for?

then has something to do with the temp, or the water quality. Or if it got burned by salt.

Unless it is just getting rid of waste, how long has he been doing this for?

Thanks my water was just to hot. I put two heaters in my tank because of the cold weather but now that is warming up I forgot about it.

yikes! stability is very important for corals and fish. you want to keep your temp steady as possible. don't do anything fast, or you will lose a lot of living creatures prematurely.

I knew it had to do with heat, was the first thing I said :p Good thing you checked that. You would have lost not just that coral you are very lucky. Make sure you always keep your temp around 78.
