Hey all,

I was wondering how long after you get a new BTA should you wait to feed it its first piece of tasty shrimp bits....mmm I think my fish eat better than me...

TIA

John

No need to feed it at all. If you provide it with the proper lighting it should not need to be target fed. It will also get food from the water column at tank feeding time.

I agree. U can feed it if u want better growth but it's not required. I used to fed my green BTA 2 times a week and it grew too quickly XD. Now it gets 1 feeding per month and occasionally a brineshrimp when i feed my fish.

sorry for a dumb question

whats a BTA

its not listed in the abrevieation list and its doesnt have a mouseover name attached to it
