I have a hammer coral that doesnt seem to be very happy and it use to be very happy in its old spot until the tiger pistol moved it by digging. So im looking for some information on placement. What kind of current does it like? Its it ok in the rocks or will it do better in sand? Does it need High lighting?

Not all the hammers have green in them what does this mean?

Heres a picture of my tank so you can help with placement maybe?

Iv read that information but that isnt helpful because I have tried putting it in areas of my tank that match that description and the hammer remains somewhat closed.

Give it a day or two to adjust after you move it. Moving a coral stresses it out. If it isn't happy with the spot by then you'll know it and can try again.
