My pulsing Xenia has new small grooves in the stem area. Is that new growth branches coming or disease process
I wish I could post images but it won't allow it on this app for my iPhone 4
Any advise would be great
Thanks in advance

Pictures are going to be needed, it could be either really.
Any other symptoms/signs?

Plug your phone into your computer, you can grab the photos off it and put them on photobucket or a similar image hosting site.

Looks like indented oval slits on stems just under heads thought maybe it was getting bushy more heads ? Or Disease

Nothing to worry about. When xenia come into contact with rocks or other coral it trys to attach to them or grow onto them. It doesn't always make it and then the base looks like it is scarred or torn. Xenia is honestly almost indistructable in a even relativly stable tank. I've cut it off and taken a tooth bursh to the stuff and a few weeks later it has started to grow back from the tiniest piece.
