i recently purchased a yellow clown goby and i have read they can be very difficult to get eating which is the case with mine sadly:( I was just wondering if anyone has had issues with them biting their maxima clams?

yes i have tried frozen brine and mysis shrimp with no luck..i even went out and bought some live clam but still no luck. i will continue trying thanks

Try the frozen cyclopeeze. Unless you have a monster of a clown goby, mysis is too big unless you chop it up really really fine.

I've heard of clown gobys picking at SPS coral from time to time, but have never heard about clams.

okay ill try to find some of this frozen cyclopeeze today. My clam has small white spots on it as a result of being bitten so I have had to remove the clown goby for the time being. Hopefully I find out what he will eat before its too late. Thanks!
