Awesome! Not sure of the Firefish and the Dottyback will work out though. If you do decide to get both, be sure to add the Dottyback last.

I'd go slow and stick to what you got for now. After you get the other fish in the tank and you see where your parameters are at you can decide then.

Not sure about the crabs and snails, but I know for a fact that a Hawkfish will eat shrimp.

Well, now that I think of it Dottybacks have been known to attack shrimp also . They are quite aggressive. Other than the Dottyback you should have no problems!

Actually, after doing a bit of research on the Internet, apparently some Dottybacks will eat Hermit Crabs and Snails. I think they have to be small though. Sorry to confuse you. Now I am not entirely sure my self. Hmmmmm

Send a message via ICQ to ccCapt
It will probably be OK, but chances are you won't see it very often. They are mostly nocturnal and like to hide during the day.

Reef Lobster, Red Hawaiian

Is this the one you were looking at? It says that they won't harm any fish like wrasses while they are sleeping, but could harm small fish and inverts. Maybe by small they mean Clown Gobies and what not. Anyways they are classified at "Peaceful"

I wouldn't think so...usually you classify fish as semi aggressive or agressive? Not a saltie so I wouldn't know but I'm just wondering...
