Hi folks, as mentioned previously in another thread, I've been hunting down local sources for a CO2 cylinder, as I was worried about the safety and expense of shipping a CO2 cylinder. Most of the online resources recommended looking at local welding, fire extinguisher and bar supply stores.
I called around the following companies and here is the information I got from them:

I ended up not buying locally because I found out that BeverageFactory.com ( http://www.beveragefactory.com/ ) sells new 5lb aluminum tanks for $57, and shipping an empty tank to me was under $10. I also chose not to get my tanks refilled at any of the above stores because of the need to swap tanks for an older, possibly crappier tank basically
I found a place in Fairfax, VA called Bars By Bud ( http://www.barsbybudmepham.com/ ) that refills while you wait. A 5lb refill costs $15.75 and a 10lb refill costs $26.25.
