Anybody interested in a free small grouper??

He is about 6 inches long, very healthy.. I collected him in Key Largo FLorida earlier this year while snorkeling. He eats thawed frozen shrimp or even sinking pellets. I am getting rid of him and a couple of small snappers of unknown genus that I also collected. They are free to anybody local who will pick them up.. Not that it matters to me, but is it legal to collect your own fish?

In some places all you need is a fishing license to collect the fish and make it legal.

there are only a few fish that are not allowed (jewfish...), but the polyps and corals are very heavily regulated in the Keys. You can only take 2 polyps per day per person and all stony corals are strictly prohibited... There is a reef off of Islamorada that is loaded with rics and yuma, it is awesome..
