10 gallon barb tank?

i will soon have a empty ten gallon tank and im thinking barbs. i want some aggressive fish for this tank. What do you guys think? dont forget about a bottom dweller.

A 10g is too small for most barbs, unfortunately. Although Barbs don't generally get very large, they are extremely active so Tiger Barbs, Odessas, etc all need a 3 foot tank.

You could keep cherry barbs, but they don't exactly "school" and they are also quite docile.

I have to study for a test so I don't have much time to research more aggressive fish for a 10g, sorry. I just love barbs and had to post :lol:

then what fish? i dont want the useual guppies and crap, ive already got those
 
Cherry barbs would be fine in a 10g. As Taylor said, they're not particularly active and they're not aggressive.
