So I have a 10 gallon tank and was curious if a Betta, 4-6 Fancy guppies and a African Dwarf Frog/Snail/or a few Ghost Shrimps would be a good combo. Or would there be a better combination of colorful simple to care for and hardy fish?

I have a sand substrate and was thinking about putting some potted easy to care for plants in it as well to spruce it up. I may upgrade to a 15 or 20 gallon down the line but am currently looking for a tank that's the right dimensions. Thanks.

If you have a male betta, he may target the fancy guppies. Especially if they are male. If you get mixed gender guppies, you're going to end up inundated very quickly. The frog may also have issues getting a proper diet.

Also, in general, that is more fish than I would put in a 10 gallon.

For future reference, AqAdvisor is an excellent source for checking your stocking plans.

Personally, I'd leave out the Betta. The rest seem fine.
You could always go with tetra added to that stock. There's several different kinds.
