10g Dwarf/Honey Gourami with Flame Tetras?

Is this doable or recommended? We just lost a betta after 2 years and we want to keep the tank running. My girlfriend wants a dwarf gourami, but I want flame tetras. I was wondering if it's possible to do both, but if not we'll probably just compromise and do the dwarf gourami by itself.

Dwarfs will go with flames. I have ornate, black widow and neon tetras with mine. I have a male and 2 female reds

Dwarf gouramis are usually pretty peaceful. I don't see a problem as long as you keep your tetra school to about half a dozen fish to avoid over-stocking.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking 6-8 flame tetras. I've only ever seen dwarf gouramis get upset toward other labyrinth fish, but i figured it couldn't hurt to ask.
