10g with 10g sump

Here is my latest project. Its a 10g FW with a 10g sunp. I plan on adding a lot of plants and a co2 system eventually. But I want a shallow and deep water there. I only have a betta in the top tank right now and was bottom feeders in the bottom. The pump you see will be hidden soon and looking fairly clean. Considering adding another LED to the bottom or leaving it how it is to go with the theme. Any ideas or tips?

It looks pretty sweet. My only concern would be too much water flow for the plants or the betta, but I've never ran a sump before.

Well currently I have the return at the bottow of the top tank. But I'm about to make a spraybar at the top for surface aggitation and calmer flow.
