11in gold nugget pleco

Is a pleco that size to big for a 75g? Filtration is a fluval 406 and a emperor 400.

Imo a goldnugget pleco that size is pretty much done growing. As long as he's not being crowded with overstocking and has nothing else of that size to compete with it should be fine in a 75gal.

Im thinking about a few angels..like 5..then a large school of small tetras.but I don't have to have him my friend offered him to me ..

That should be fine. Sounds like your on the fence about the pleco. I think it will do fine in a 75gal. with a modest stocking of a couple angels and school of tetras.
