An Oscar would EAT a Dojo Loach.
Stock needs to be Loach friendly and best is cool water species.

So for cooler water would you say something like dojos I personally would only do one goldfish because of waist and some White Cloud Mountain minnows danios as well as some type of barb?

Look on YouTube for Planted Goldfish Tanks.
If you feed them shelled peas and romaine and other softer greens...they can live and thrive in planted tanks.

IMO and experience gold fish have destroyed plants

I hope that link is correct because goldfish with plants would be cool and the OP could go for a planted goldfish tank
