What would I be able to put in a 15 gallon other than a bushy nose pleco and Cory catfish?? There are anubias in it, the tank is high, not long!

Six tiger barbs would not work in a 15-gallon tank, especially a high one. Consider smaller fish: cherry barbs, neon tetras, glowlight tetras, galaxy rasboras, ember tetras, guppies, endler's livebearers, dwarf cories, otocinclus, etc...

Choose a school or the fish stated above and add a betta or a gourami as the centerpiece

My fifteen has two apple snails, two juilli cory cats, five harlequin rasboras, two platys, and a betta. It looks pretty cool!

Just note that some betas don't get along with other fish and some do.

Absolutely.

15 tall has the same footprint as a 10 gallon. You'd pretty much stock them the same way. Tiger barbs will not work, as mentioned.
