2 gal qaurentine bucket is it safe?

So I got a new dwarf gourami and a female guppy should I move all male guppy an endler I don't want to risk loosin into 29 g with female guppy their fry 2 snails and my cory cats ? Or is it ok to qaurentine in 2 gal bucket with heater and air tube ? How often should I change water if I do
