I recently separated my large silver dollar (4") from my first tank. It's outgrown the 5 gallon it's in and I am starting a 20 gallon. What might be safe from harm in there with it? I was thinking of a crayfish/snail and some cat and/or pleco. Any advice is appreciated. Thanx

re: fish compatibility
I know it's my own post but noone responded.

I was told by one place that a large angel fish would do well
and by another that gouramis or even danios would be ok.

either way i got a pleco because both said it was cool

I don't know what else I can put in with a big, semi-aggressive silver dollar

Please help.

I did some research and now i have a BEEEYOOTIFUL fire parrot in with the silver dollar and the pleco. THe LFS done good. Then again I got her a half hour ago so I'll check in later.

I'd go with the cats or the Plecko. Red tail shark can work .In fact, the 29 gal I gave to a friend has ;
1 Angel
2 silver dollars
1 red tail shark
They are getting a bit big for that tank,But they get along for the most part .
