Hi guys!

So I am setting up a 20 long planted tank!

My lighting will be the Current Usa FW LED+. Since the tank is only 12inches deep, would I be able to do moderate lighted things?

My stock will be:

- Pair of Bolivian rams
- 8x cardinals
- 8x Panda cory
- 5x Bleeding heart tetra (maybe)

Would this be okay?

Has anyone who kept bolivian rams know how to pair them?, I was thinking of finding Rambo a mate by adding 2-3 more rams and returning the non paired!

I've kept as many as 5 GBRs in a 90 gallon tank. I wouldn't do more than 3 in a 20 gallon long. It helps if you have plenty of driftwood and plants to break up the lines of sight.

Why don't you keep Rambo in your 29 gallon and add blue rams to your 20 gallon? You can crank up the heat, which the blue rams and cardinals will enjoy, and you can add a school of rummynoses.

I use Finnex LEDs on my tanks and they are pretty bright. I have no trouble growing Java fern, Java moss, crypts and various anubias in profusion. I also have to scoop out loads of duckweed every couple of weeks.

Everything sounds good to me, except maybe the Bleeding Hearts. I love them, but I think they get a bit large to have five in a 20 with those other fish. I'd stick with the cardinals, ram, and pandas for now. What kind of filtration do you have on it?
