29 g long - how many Neon Tetras?

I have a 29 g long planted tank with a 50g capacity filter -- I currently have 5 neon tetras and would like to up the school but want to know how many I could have.

One male betta
one albino bristlenose
8 juli cory
5 neon tetra

there are like 2 or 3 ghost shrimp and a few baby red cherry shrimp.

Could I have 7? or 10?

You could have 10 or even 15 quite easily IMO.

Actually with your stocking list you could do 20 comfortably.

You have great filtration and plants to boot! Add 15 more neons to your existing group, but that's it as far as schooling fish are concerned.
