29 Gallon Stocking

Hello, in my 29 gallon, I have 10 red Minor tetras, 6 albino corys, and 2 swordtails that I can relocate to another tank if they are not compatible with the fish I want. I was wondering if I could get Cherry Barbs and how many I could get for my tank?
