29 instead of 55 do to laziness

well went to wally world and bought the 29 gallon setup instead of the 55 gallon because I was way to tired to carry, push or lug anything that big around walmart, so i got the 29 instead, haven't done anything with it yet. i'll buy the 55 in a couple weeks I guess, do you guys think 25lbs of gravel is enough?
 
I had 10 lbs, of gravel and 25 lbs of sand, and it was too shallow for plants, I just added 10 lbs of flora base. and its good now for the plants.
 
1 lb per gallon will give you an inch or so layer of gravel. You can use that as a guideline for how deep you want your gravel, versus how much you should buy.
