Hi guys, I've been having a rethink of my planted tank and decided to start the stocking over again.
I'm going to be rehoming my rasboras and cockatoo apisto and looking at starting a shrimp colony.

What is some fish you would recommend? I like the idea of small shoal of fish.

What I will be keeping. 8x hasbrosus cory.
So send me your shrimp friendly stocking suggestions

Edit: cpd are not a option only time I have seen them they were $20 a fish!

How about...

Ember tetras
Dwarf emerald rasboras
Chili rasboras (or any other dwarf rasbora)
Clown killies
Pseudomugil gertrudae
Least killies
Green neon tetras

The shrimplets are all fair game with these fish but the adult shrimp should be fine.

Oooo I had forgotten a about emerald rasboras. I've seen them somewhere before.
Signifiers is a good idea too, seeing as should be readily available

Anything anyone can suggest for top level swimmer?
I now have 10x green neons, 5x pacfic blue eyes, 8x hasbrosus cory.

Everything gets along fine except the neons just hang around with Cory's at the bottom catching things they miss haha

Clown killies would be my first suggestion, or any other pseudomugil like gertrudae, threadfin, furcata, etc. Clown killies are a personal fav of mine though.

My lfs has some clown Killies in and I love them but I have a lidless tank and would hate to see them jump

My tanks are all open too and I've only had one jumper ever. Lower water flow and floating plants help deter jumping substantially, as will calm and non aggressive tankmates. The pseudomugils are sometimes known as jumpers too but never had that experience either.
