4 small bristnose plecos in a 20 gallon?

Want to breed bristlenose plecos and my best way to get a male and female would be to buy 3-4. Would they be ok all in a 20 till I can sex them and get rid/ take out the other 1 or 2?

You CAN keep them in a 20 gallon tank, but that is too small for 4 six-inch plecos (I know yours are not that big yet) Sex them then get the other 2 outta there!
