40-50 gallon (approximately) aquascaped tank photos

I need some aquascaping inspiration for my 40 gallon tank which will be a tropical community with low tech plants.

Also has anyone ever done an aquascape with a pathway, if so how did it work out? How did you keep the subrates seperated?

This is a 60G but same foot print as a 40G Breeder.

It's actually not a breeder tank.

I love that aquascape, I was thinking of doing something similar and I love the driftwood. I was thinking of doing black sand to make the colours of my fish pop but your white sand looks great too so I am still unsure of which colour sand to choose.

There are quite a few videos for aquascaping 40-breeders on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...cape+40+gallon

I think that's beautiful.

I would simply get a few small pieces of slate/dark rock, and make a "stepping stone" path out of them to go around the bottom corner and off to the back, between the pot and the plant, and leave it at that.

It's a beautiful scape.
