5 gallon aquascaping

Well, i just got a 5 gallon for free and want to put a few tetras/ rasboras/ or danios in there with some shrimp. I'm thinking blue velvet or red cherry shrimp with something, but I'll let you know that when ii figure it out. The thing is, i don't know what i want to do for aquascaping. I want something natural (rocks, driftwood) but not live plants. Any ideas? Like what kind of driftwod? Rocks or no rocks? Black or tan or white sand?
I'm really open to anything. Post pics if you have a tank that might help!

I'd do black sand, especially if you're going to do something with a red color! I am also a big fan of driftwood. My shrimp love eating the microorganisms off of mine. Rocks would be pretty awesome as well...

Here is my 5g:

Excellent everyone! I like them all! Do you guys all prefer black sand then? And I'm not sure about driftwood...should I get dark or light? And should I get something thin or thicker? And one with many branches, or something a little more like a log?

My LFS is stocked with driftwood almost all the time so I can usually get it pretty easily. And what color sand?

Yup, my LFS sells driftwood. It's usually about $7 for the size of the one that is in the tank. For planting it all depends on the plant. Most of what I have in there are stem plants and rhizome plants. They all pretty much feed from their leaves, so sand only aquariums are great for them and I don't have to worry about giving them root tabs. The stems I just stick into the sand and the rhizomes I tie it to the wood or in this case stick it in a crack of the wood

I say go with black. It is by far my favorite color sand. It makes EVERYTHING pop more. Reds, greens, pinks, and probably every other color besides black.

I'll try, I'm still not sure though! My family wants me to kind of do something like a beach so like tan sand, dark driftwood, dark smooth rocks and green beach-looking grass. So i'm kind of thinking that with some darker blue shrimp maybe. I can't decide lol!
