Good Morning all,
I am on day 3 of our new family 75 gallon freshwater tank. It's inhabitants include..

2 firemouths
1 convict
1 frontosa (baby)
1 jack dempsey (baby)
1 acai
1 blue peacock
1 parrothead

I am running a rena xp3 filter with this tank. water temp is 75
about 9 Plastic plants, 1 flower pot, a nice size castle for hiding and some rocks

All the fish were introduced to the tank at the same time, day 1 - the convict tried to rule...chased everyone around.

day 2 same results
I am on day 3 and this morning, the blue peacock had obvisously had enough, he has been chasing the convict around the tank and trying to bite him, is this normal? should I remove one of them? try raising temperature?

any help would be greatly appreciated

Dang all those incompatible fish in a 75gal! 8-O
Those fish will NOT work together, plus IMHO, you'll be overstocked anyways.
You seriously need to rethink your stocking, some of those will have to go, if you desire any sort of reasonably peaceful cohabitation.

Is it cycled? Did you nitrogen cycle the tank/filter before adding fish?

Good grief Charlie Brown!

Africans and south americans cichlids should not be mixed. I remove the Frontosa, the blue peacock and the acei or vise versa.

+1 On the question regarding is the tank cycled?
