About to start a new 25G low tech planted tank!

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking to refurbish this 25G tank as a low-tech planted environment.

Plants:

I'm mainly looking at flame moss on the rocks, and staurogynes repens for carpeting.

Animals:

I already have an albino bristlenosed pleco in there, but would love to add in 2 cherry shrimp, some tetras/rasboras (not sure).


I am swapping out the substrate next week for some fine, black controsoil. Any advice, specifically on the plants, would be HUGE!!!

Great! Good luck. Make sure you cycle your filter/tank so your fish will be safe.
