AC 20 water filter flow?

I have a AC 20 for my 8 gallon tank. What flow should I set it to? To the minimum/maximum?

As high as possible as long as it isn't a problem for splashing or freaking out fish IMO.

Some of them love to play underneath it on full power!

Its flow rate is only 100 gph. You shouldn't have any trouble with it maxed out for most species.

That's correct. It is 100gph on max and 36 or something on min.
I read that the filter works better on min.

I've used many... it works great on max flow as well.
