Accidentally overdosed on Flourish

Hi Everyone,

I have a 36 gal tank and accidentally put a full capful of Flourish in. The directions say one capful for a 60 gal. tank. Will this harm my fish?

No but this extra nutrients will cause algae.

Do a 50% WC and perhaps another one tomorrow to lower the amount in the water.

I would do a 25% change and call it a day.

Thanks for your help. I am on well water and I've learned the hard way that if I do too much of a water change, my PH will shoot up to over 8.6. Right now by doing smaller changes, I've kept it stable at around 7.2 for over a month. I'll do a smaller water change every other day for a few days. My nitrates are usually really low, even with a planted tank.
