adapter for water changer

My heart just broke. I'm online shopping for water changers, been dreaming of one lol. My fiance tells me no thread on the sink.. Is there an adapter to purchase? Anyone else have this problem and what are the best changers to buy?
Thanks

There should be a piece called an aerator screwed on the faucet.

Some of the fancy pull out kitchen faucets dont have the threads. I would check the bathroom next. Last choice would be to get a different faucet.
