Adding 3rd Angelfish?

Hi!

I currently have 2 Angelfush in my community tank… they are always together although I’m not sure if they have ‘paired off’ hard to tell as there is only the 2 of them I didn’t really give them a choice ha! If I want to add to this duo, what’s a good/safe number? Keeping in mind I won’t be able to tell the sex of the add in’s at purchase…

What size tank do you have? I wouldnt advise a 3rd, if 2 pair up it will cause problems with the other. I have 4 in a 55 gallon and i really wouldnt recommend that either. If your tank is 75g + 4 could work.

Hmm thanks for the reply. I have 2 tanks but they are 3 and 3.5 foot. I think I’ll stick to the 2 I have, they seem happy so why disturb the peace ��
