Adding addionatal filter cartridge

My filter has 2 slots for filter cartridges, how much of an advantage do you get from puting in 2 filter cartridges, aqua advisor says i have about 90% of the recommended filtration.

It's not necessary, but it will help catch more stuff.

Since you are using cartridges, it's a huge advantage to use 2. That way, you can alternate changing them and not throw all the bacteria away.

Exactly ! having two will help you to be able to change one without major problem with the good bacteria.

I now have cartridges all the time, and my plan is not to remove them unless one falls apart, I'm just going to do regular cleaning using water tank.
