This is probably not what you want to hear, but you're probably going to have to find new homes for the rainbow shark and the Bala. Both of these fish look really cool in the store and at one time, I was tempted to get both. Unfortunately, the rainbow is viciously territorial and the Balas get to be 14 inches long!

See these links for profiles on these fish:
Bala Shark: http://www.fishprofiles.com/profiles...s+melanopterus
Rainbow Shark: http://www.fishprofiles.com/profiles...nchos+frenatum

I couldn't find any info on the neon shark, but if it is also called the black shark, it too would just be too aggressive and territorial for a 30 gal. sorry.

"Neon" or "Iridescent" shark? Iridescent sharks certinaly exist... I've never heard of the neon sharks. :|
MTS is a blessing, not a disease.
