Adding Plant Potter cave to tank, how to clean?

I have just finished cutting the potter cave to the form I want, and am soaking in water, what all do I need to do to get it ready to go into the tank? I want to make sure there are no dangerous things on them, and that they are perfect for the tank. Any advice will be great,

Is it a Terra cotta pot? If so as long as it is clean you can put it right in.

It's a terra cotta, I had cut it in half, and the soaked it in water to get rid of the dust and stuff...I will rinse it again, but other than that, just place it in the tank?

Yes they are aquarium safe.
