I have a fully cycled 36 gallon bowfront aquarium that's doing quite well. Planted. Running a Eheim ecco pro 2234 (good for 60 gallon tank) & Aqueon 30 HOB filter (good for 30-40g)

Currently has:

3 pineapple swordtails
2 balloon rams
1 pearl gourami
2 lagos red killifish
4 skunk cories
1 hillstream loach
2 amano shrimp
6 longfin pearl danios

I'd like to add a few more colorful fishy tankmates. Suggestions? No guppies.

Thanks! :)

You're fairly well stocked already. You might want to up the number of cories to 6, or maybe add a small school of nano fish such as Chili Rasboras or Endlers, but I'd avoid much more than that.

Keep an eye on your hillstream loach... They do very poorly in non-specialized tanks. They need really high current, cool temperatures, fresh algae, and high oxygenation or they tend to die within the first year.

I agree.
