African Knife Fish

It will eat anything that will fit in its mouth that it can catch. The spines on a catfish might kill it if it managed to catch one and tried to swollow it.

Alright. I dunno if a cory or fully grown tiger barb would fit in its mouth... So that isn't a ton of help. >.> Wasn't sure, since a lot of normally aggressive fish typically ignore cories, and the barbs can often hold their own easily.

I keep my X. nigri with Synodontis cats and Ctenopoma/Microctenopoma Bush Fish without any problems. I suspect that the spines on a Corydoras cat would have the same discouraging effect on a Knife Fish as the spines on a Synodontis have. The Tiger Barbs should be fine as well unless they're really tiny ones.
