Hello I have a new tank that's been up for 2 months now and is doing berry well my water peramiters are all where they are supposed to be at. I bought a pair of doubble red cockatuiods male and female. ( my tank is a community tank) when I put them in the tank everything was good for about a week now when the male see's the female he charges towards her and she run away. Does anyone know what's going on???? Ps. My tank has lots of cover and is also planted. Thanks :)

Sounds like he is ready to breed and she is not. Do you have a tank divider or another tank, in case you need to separate them? For now, I'd say just keep an eye on her. If you see nipped fins and such, you should separate.

Watch for her to turn bright yellow with a black slash through her eye. That's her breeding colors, and she should start getting along better with your male at that point. ;)
