agressive platy

I have had a red platy in my tank for a while and he hasn't been an issue. Yesterday I added some new fish and he is harassing them and even some of the fish he's been living with. His main target is a male rainbow platy and while he hasn't bitten him he keeps chasing him constantly. What should I do?

Sounds like he is the Alpha male or wants to be. I'd keep an eye on him because it may be necessary to separate the males.
