Albino Black Kuhli Loach?

My LFS had black kuhli loaches in and one was completelky white/pink. I bought 6 (including the white one) and I realized today that the white one had black eyes so its not an albino is it?

No it's probably a semi albino

Could you post a picture? It must be lacking a certain amount of pigmintation, but in humans the gene for eye color is separate so I suppose it could be similar in fish.

Yeah, there are more reasons for a fish to be white than just albinism. One of them is of course the mis-identification of species my an lfs.

It may just be a Golden Dojo. Their color varies White , Pink to Yellow. They grow much LARGER than Kuhlii Loaches.

Yeah I have some semi albino bristlenose plecos

I've seen what I'd refer to as albino kuhlis before, just one or two, but I do think they're out there.
