Hi blackmoor311 here!
I have algae on the rocks of my pristine tank that won't go away. I can't use chemicals because of the fry in the tank. Any tips?:fish2::rolleyes:

Hi blackmoor!

Just a few questions first:

Do you have a pic of the algae or can you describe what it looks/feels like? How long do you run your lights? What sort of lighting do you have? How long has the tank been set up? Any live plants? How often do you do water changes?

My tank has been set up for about four and a half months, no live plants and I keep my lights on for 8 hours then I turn them off. The algae is dark green and stringy. You can pull it off the rocks in very small patches. I wish my phone had a better camera to get a picture of it. I do water changes 1 time per month
