algae crew for planted tank (bumped with pics!)

I have a couple of them, one male and one female and let me tell you. The male doesn't eat much at all and have never taken after anything but algae or veggies. The female on the other hand would probably eat any shrimp she could catch! She is a very aggressive eater, well both of my female BN are and I wouldn't trust them with anything that resembles food. My male is 5 inches long and hasn't grwon a smidge since he got there. The female is only 3.5 inches.

As for algae, since I got mine, I haven't see any sign of green spot, BGA, or any other algea except for BBa and hair/string algae.

farowella=whiptail catfish=pleco right?

right. not sure if they are true plecos though, or just have the sucking mouth (hillstream loaches have the mouth also)
