Can someone put this to rest. My 105ltr tank has a algae problem i have got my nitrites sorted etc but have lots of algae its growing on the rocks glass everywhare my better half says we should leave it alone as the single small pleco will take care of it. I want to remove the rocks ets out 2 clean it all off .
My pleco wont touch the rocks infact will only eat the algae off the glass and wont touch the food we have put in for it but he seams ok and hes getting bigger.the 3 mollies have become 5 now.the big question is am i right or wrong lol

Doesn't really matter.

If it's bugging you, take the stuff out an clean it.

If you're not that bothered, leave it.

Best bet is to get to the root of the problem so once you do get rid of it, it's not coming back.

How long do you have the lights on for?

How much natural daylight/direct sunlight does the tank get?
