hi all
i have been doing a little internet research, but also thought i would post here, as in the past i have had helpful and speedy responses!
i have green algae growing on the front glass of my tank. it doesn't come off when i scrape it.
i have been making an effort to turn the lights on less, but have had no effect so far...
any suggestions? i have read it's not harmful, but it gets on the way of me seeing the fish!

well i think it must get a little direct sunlight...
i have 2 weather loaches and a borneo sucker. they do like veggies and things, but i guess you couldnt call them algae eaters... the sucker doesnt go near the bright green algae

My advice would be to look into Pleco's and Ottocinclus fish. They eat algae but you may need to research what kinds they eat.

thanks very much for that list, have been researching them and most are available easily in the uk. think i am going to go for a zebra snail!
thanks again!
