Algae Problem/Identification

Hi all,

I've recently developed a rather nasty algae problem that's threatening to take over my tank

I've done some research but unfortunately am finding the descriptions rather difficult to confirm what I am dealing with.

I've attached some pictures in the hope someone can identify my problem and even include some words of wisdom as to how to deal with it!
